StarSpan is a vintage style non woven `tissue` style covering for model aircraft.
StarSpan retains almost 100% of its strength when wet, and as such it can be applied wet ( Star-Span can also be applied dry and water spayed afterwards to shrink.
After application StarSpan should be sealed and shrunk `drum` tight by using a high grade cellulose dope.
