Why use StarSpan Cellulose products?

StarSpan products contain NO Toluene or Xylene

these products are highly toxic and have no purpose other than to reduce cost in a formulation, all other dopes tested contain at least one or both of these toxic chemicals.

All StarSpan products are virtually colorless, Other companies products are usually a disgusting yellow/brown that darkens with age.

StarSpan is packed in plastic bottles, to prevent rusted cans and to enable you to see what your buying!

StarSpan dopes will not crack or go brittle with age and need no added plasticizing agents.

StarSpan looks better, ages better, smells better and quite simply is better...

StarSpan products are purpose formulated.

All of the other `Dopes` Tested were found to be low cost brittle clear lacquers, produced for the automotive industry...( who don`t use them anymore and have to dump them somewhere ! ), These products usually have a very low cellulose content and as such are not actually the cellulose dope that you are paying for!

StarSpan only use the best quality ingredients.

All our chemicals are of the highest available grade, however we still redistill all the solvents that we use to ensure a entirely pure formula., all mixing / packing is done under a blanket of inert gas in a controlled atmosphere to prevent any contamination from moisture / air.
